Screenshots from the cave
Game features
- A living lantern-cave. A procedurally generated cavern of rock spires, hanging stalactites and drifting organisms — every seed carves a different cave.
- Sonar scanning. Fire a sonar pulse to catalogue the glowing specimens hiding in the dark; the pulse lights up the cave as it expands.
- Real submersible piloting. Throttle, rudder, dive planes and mouse-look — inertial, drifting, three-dimensional flight with a headlight cone in the murk.
- Air, hull and a way home. Oxygen ticks down, collisions crack the hull, and nanite repair only buys you time: escape up the ascent shaft with all 10 specimens to win.
- Sound made of math. Sonar pings, chimes, hull thuds and a deep reactor hum — every sound is synthesised in code, nothing is downloaded.
How to play
Goal
Find all 10 glowing specimens in the cave and scan them with your sonar pulse. Then fly to the pale ascent shaft and surface. Air is limited and the rock spires are sharp: run out of air or crack the hull and the dive ends.
Keyboard
- W / S — thrust, reverse
- A / D or ← → — rudder
- Q / Z — dive planes: rise, dive
- Space — sonar pulse (costs a little air)
- Click — mouse-look · P — pause
Touch
On-screen buttons steer, thrust, rise/dive and fire the scan. Drag on the view area to look.
