Features
- A living manor. Nine dark rooms, hand-built in WebGL — every wall, door and shroud drawn in code.
- Brazier puzzles. Light the glyphs in the order an old painting remembers to free each bone key.
- The Hollow hunts you. It tracks sight and lantern-light, patrols between rooms, and drains your Breath.
- Escape to win. Collect three keys, reach the front door, and get out alive — the clock scores you.
- Sound made of math. Heartbeats, drones and creaks are synthesized live with WebAudio. No files, no samples.
How to play
Goal: find the three bone keys hidden in locked chests, then reach the front door of the parlour. Touch the Hollow too long and your Breath runs out — the game is lost.
- WASD / arrows — move
- Mouse — look (click the screen to grab the mouse)
- Shift — sprint (costs stamina)
- E — act: light brazier, take key, open front door
- F — raise / lower the lantern
- Touch: left pad moves, right side looks, ACT / RUN / LAMP buttons
The rules of the house
Wickwell gave up its last keeper forty winters ago. The braziers still remember their keeper's litany — eye, moon, sun, hand, in the right order, always. Light them out of order and the flames die, and so does a little more of you. The thing in the halls does not have a name; it has a hunger. It sees more clearly by lantern-light, so brave souls walk with the lamp low. The front door answers only to three bone keys. That is all the lore. Go.
