What you'll face

A living floor plan. Every play seeds a new manor layout — doorways, keys, braziers and hiding places all fall in new places.
The Hollow Man. He wanders the rooms, phases through walls, and quickens when your lantern dims. Light keeps him at arm's length; the dark calls him close.
Calm is your health. Darkness, terror and empty lanterns drain your calm. Brasiers and candlelight restore it — stand in their glow to steady yourself.
The night has a clock. Five minutes until dawn ends everything. Keys are worth points, and a fast, composed escape is worth far more.
Played in your browser. Pure WebGL via three.js, procedural textures, sound synthesized from oscillators — nothing downloaded, nothing tracked.

How to play

Goal: find the three brass keys glowing on their plinths, press E at each to take it, then press E at the great front door to unlock it and escape. Escape to win; you lose if the Hollow Man closes on you, your calm falls to zero, or the night's clock runs out.

Move — W A S D / arrow keys (phone: left thumb stick)
Look — mouse after clicking the scene (phone: drag the right half)
E — take keys / unlock door / rest at a brasier (phone: big round button)
F — toggle the lantern — it burns oil; refill it at braziers
Shift — sprint (loud, fast, terrifying) R — restart a fresh manor
