An unedited capture of one Cairnvale world, turning slowly under a working sky. The same code you play.
Cairnvale is a small country built out of metre-sized cubes: hill, shore, pine, quarry, snowline. Nothing in it is a level someone authored. Give it a number and it gives you ground.
You start standing in it. You can walk, jump one block, break what you're looking at, and put a block back where you weren't standing. Dig a hole and the walls remember they were stone.
The sun is on a timer. A day is ten minutes of real light, and the dark half is genuinely darker — stars, no ambient bounce, cold fog. Change the timer by parameter if you want a faster sky.
Add ?seed=7&time=0.9&daylength=120&debug=1 to the game page to pick the ground, start at night,
run a short day, and play before the title clears.
